Meal Replacement Shake - Milled Flax Seeds with Protein Powder

Meal Replacement Shake - milled flax seeds with Meal Replacement Powder represents full meal. Depending on the MRP, can be used for breakfast, for daily shakes and for bed-time shakes.

Put shaker on the kitchen scale and measure 25g of milled flax seeds.

 

Milled flax seeds are great source of healthy fats and fibers. If you don't use milled ones, that they will simply pass through your body and you will lose lots of good nutrients.

If you are on a diet and need some energy boost, take a guarana pill, open it and put the content of the pill in the shaker. Throw away pill casing.

Add some C vitamin - good for many things and very cheap.

 

One small scoop have around 135 mg.

Add MRP powder.

 

How much will you add, depends on many things. Usually, I put 2 scoops - I am 100kg+, so I need more protein per meal.

 

Close the shaker firmly. If you want, you can add water right away or later when needed.
I don't add creatine to shakes like this - creatine is cheap, but this is slow digesting shake and it is highly questionable how much of that creatine will end up in my muscles and how much in my kidneys. C vitamin added to this shake can't make creatine transform to creatinine (at least not in the beginning - after all gastric acid is much much stronger than some C vitamin in plenty of water). Anyway add water just before drinking your shake with or without creatine.

This meal has around 480 kcal. As MRP I used Labrada ProV 60 (chocolate), but for daily meals you can use any similar supplement. This is high protein meal with some carbs and plenty of good fats.

Fibers will help your belly feel happy. This is great daily meal or a snack for rather large people - if you need less calories, vary the amount of content.

This shake can be used by anyone on Carb Cycling Diet, Liquid Diet, Keto Diet or anyone wanting simple, quick and healthy meal.

If you are vegetarian, you can, instead of whey, egg, milk or beef based MRP take soy or wheat based MRP.

This meal has around 450 kcal, but most important it has NO ANIMAL protein, so vegetarians can consume it as they please. This shake also can be used by anyone on Carb Cycling Diet, Liquid Diet, Keto Diet or anyone wanting simple, quick and healthy meal.

Good thing for vegetarians is that this and similar wheat and soy protein powders come in different flavors, so bodybuilding, working out and staying fit don't have to be (much) harder when compared with activities of the rest of the world.
